The Commission on Aging continuously strives to provide a variety of meaningful, topical, educational and interesting programs for our citizens 50 and older. These seminars include subjects such as:
Consumer & Financial Protection
The Consumer Protection Committee educates the public on various scams and con games, including Identity Theft, that target citizens.
We publish monthly articles in "The Messenger", maintain a Consumer Protection information corner in Conway Hall at the Costick Center, and distribute information at Project Healthy Living and open houses as well as on cable shows.

Health & Fitness
Project Healthy Living is a health screening and education effort providing our community with a comprehensive battery of free and low cost health tests to anyone 18 years or older. It is brought to Farmington Hills through the efforts of the Farmington Area Commission on Aging and the Farmington Hills Adult Division with help from Beaumont/Botsford Hospital. The event is held in March at the Costick Center at 11 Mile and Middlebelt. Information is available beginning in February by calling (248) 473•1830.
